Lions Club, Mysore South, has instituted an award for celebrating outstanding Kannada writings by authors resident in Mysore district. Dakshina Kesari Kannada Sahitya Award, 2005 would consider works published in 2004. Eligible entrants would facilitate the selection panel by sending three copies of their relevant published work to Mr. P Rajan, Lions Club of Mysore South, R B Pipes and Tubes, 1551, MG Road, Mysore, by November 20.
